Change EVL4 device default user name

When accessing the EVL4, I have an option to change the local user password, but not the local user name (default is "user").

Is there any means by which I can change the default user name from "user" to a name of my choosing?

No, that's never been an option. The EVL4 does allow 10 digit passwords.
