Hello
I am able to have my panel arm in what Alexa calls “armed in stat mode” when I give a verbal cue of “Alexa Arm”. She says “arm in stay mode”. This is great (and I’m telling you to say that something works).
When I say “Alexa disarm” she says “please disarm your security system manually. To enable disable by voice, Open the Alexa app go to devices in settings.”
I don’t wish to disarm by voice, as I’m assuming that would be a bit weird to do without a passcode.
Question A: What device am I to adjust the setting for above? I don’t see the “panel” or “keypad” listed. Just the contacts for the doors.
When I say “Alexa, arm away”, she says “Alarm is armed in away mode”. Funny enough, this was my first problem of not working, but it works all of a sudden
Question:
Can I have Alexa trigger a routine when the system is called to arm?
I go to routines, make a new one, I don’t see EyezON under my skills list.
I would like to make it where when I say “arm away” it turns on a light and after 5 min it turns it off. I know how to do a routine to do all but have the system arm itself.
I also want when I say “Alexa, goodnight” to add a step where it arms in stay mode (I have it do some things with lights already).
Another option would be if anyone knows a way I can have the eyezon email that I have come could trigger something with ifttt (I know this isn’t an eyezon thing, but you guys are pretty smart)

Re: Alexa - trigger routine upon arming
If you disarm by voice you have to give a PIN number, the same that you would use to disarm at a keypad.
Question A: Your security system is listed under whatever name you called it when you activated your Envisalink, e.g. "Home", "Lake House".
You would say, "Alexa, arm Lake House in Away Mode".
Question B: Alexa does not support security systems in routines. I agree this seems crazy as it is a no-brainer. This question appears quite often on the Alexa Smart Home forums too so hopefully they will add this feature. So at this time you can't use a security system event as a trigger, nor control it as an action.
