I have a new installation. I am reading the Zones now but I am getting the "Error: *29 Programming on panel not completed properly" message.
Page 9 of the guide says: If you hear 3 beeps proceed to #4; if not continue with *0**.
What does *0** mean? If I type * 0 * * should I then hear 3 beeps before moving on to #4?

If you don't hear three beeps then you have a newer vista. You then continue with * 0 * * . You will not hear three beeps on newer and current panels.
