This is my first post so if I screw up I apologize
New install with:
1) Honeywell Vista 20P
1) 6160 keypad - address 16
1) 4219 zone expander
1) partition
1) Envisalink 4
Other than sensors this is the complete system. *29 will not get any beeps with a 1 option. So I left it as a 0.
When I access the web interface I can allow shadowing and the message is gone from the Eyezon website. But a few minutes later I get a “check 103 lngrng radio 0000” message on the 6160
I have searched the forum and haven’t found an answer for this problem.
Thanks for any help

Assuming you have followed instructions from Envisalink4/Honeywell Vista Installation and Programming Guide your next step is to see if the five led lights on your board are all solid. Also double check the wiring. Otherwise you should probably open a support ticket in the Eyezon portal.

Yes I have followed instructions in the manual and I do have 5 lights. Thanks

You need to enable *29 and not use Shadowing
As it says in the manual, if you enter *29 1 and DO NOT hear three beeps, continue with * 0 * *. Most newer panels require this.
* 2 9 1 * 0 * *
Then make sure shadowing is off as you don't have another communicator installed.

Thanks for the suggestion. But if you think I haven’t tried the different combinations (*29 0/1, shadowing on/off) to the point of insanity then you’re wrong

Re: Error:*29 Programming on panel not….
The solution to your problem is simple
1) Enable *29 by entering the following while in installers programming
* 29 1 * 0 * *
2) If for some reason you enabled shadowing even though you don't have another communicator installed, then TURN THIS OFF.
3) If your keypad is showing a 103 LRR error, this is because the trouble is latching and does not restore on its own. To clear latching troubles on Honeywell panels you need to enter your user code + 1, TWICE.
..and that's it!

I’ll give it a go. I’m sure it will work. I’ve done 4 or 5 of these modules and don’t remember any problems. Others seemed easy to program/install
