I have installed a sidekick and see one bar of signal strength.
i've moved the aerial to different orientations but see no improvement though I've also not seen any disconnection either.

Can I be confident in the service at this signal strength?
How can I improve it?

Thanks

Extra info:
My alarm panel is in the basement.
Not easy to get new wires to panel location but I have all kinds of ethernet and coax cable runs terminating there that might be connected to an Antenna

We consider any bars on that graph to be sufficient. The LTE service is constantly supervised so if you did lose service you would be notified.

You can move the antenna to another location using a coax cable with SMA connectors. You can also purchase an exterior LTE antenna from many different vendors on Amazon.

Thanks for guidance.
Signal with one bar was not reliable - I checked and found it was dropped for long periods.
I was able to mount an external antenna outside the house using one of the coax runs and a SMA connector.
Very happy with the result.
