If you receive an FTC Phone Line X error or TLM error, this means you used to have a phone line attached to your panel and/or monitoring with a company over the phone line and now you don't.
The FTC stands for "Fail To Communicate", and refers to the panel's attempt to call the central monitoring station over the phone line and failing. The TLM stands for "Telephone Line Monitoring" and refers to the panel not "seeing" a phone line attached to the panel.
To disable these errors you need your DSC installers code and then you can complete the following programming steps from a local keypad.
Enter *8 (Installer Code). (You should get 6 Short Beeps and the Red/Lock Armed Light should come on)
If it does not and you get 1 Long Beep, that is the wrong Installer Code. You will need your installers code to proceed.
Enter 015 (The Red light will go off and the Green Ready/check will Light)
You Should now see a series of numbers 1 through 8. If Number 7 is lit, press the 7 key and it should go out. When off or If not on proceed by Pressing # Once only. (Green light will go out and Red will come On)
Enter 380 ((The Red light will go off and the Green Ready/check will Light)
You Should now see a series of numbers 1 through 8. If Number 1 is lit, press the 1 key and it should go out. When off or If not on proceed by Pressing # # Twice
You will now need to remove all power from the alarm system for 30 seconds. Remove AC Power source first and then the Battery. When restoring the power, connect the Battery first and then the AC source. Do not worry, when you connect the Battery, the panel will not power up until the AC is connected.
