I currently use Home Assistant and Vera Zwave. I need to be able to connect both of these to my EVL4. The EVL4 only allows 1 external connection. So I have a Java application that acts as a bridge and allows devices to connect to it and then it interfaces with the EVL4. (This doesn't effect monitoring, its just external device access)
My issue is the java application or the Linux machine hosting it sometimes has issues and troubleshooting has to be done. My question is can I buy another EVL4 and install it in my DSC1832 panel? I know that the EVL4 acts like another keypad as far as the panel is concerned. I would just have monitoring enabled on one and then have the other one strictly for local access to the panel for my external application.
Wanted to get someone smarter than me to let me know if I am barking up the wrong tree
Thanks for the help

Re: Install 2 EVL4's?
Sure, we have panels with 10 EVL4s in them (for testing). There is no conflict.
