No Network Connection-5G ATT&T Internet Air Router

I've had a 2DS that has performed great for quite a few years, with several different routers on cable broadband.

A couple days ago, I changed from Spectrum (cable) to AT&T Internet Air (5G). Now it doesn't work. No blinking lights, nothing.

It went back to working after switching back to the original equipment.

I've tried the short-the-pins out trick, but that didn't help.

Am I just SOL like the person that wrote in about the T-Mobile 5G home product?

Would I be wasting my money if I went with the 4DS?

Any help would be very much appreciated.
