topic. why does this happen? nothing "wrong" here, it's working. but wonder why i hear 2 beeps instead of one, like i do when using the keypad directly (vista 15p)
i don't have this issue when arming, i hear the same 3 beeps with mobile app or keypad
when disarming via mobile app, i hear 2 beeps on the keypad instead of one

After an alarm, Honeywell panels require you to disarm the system, twice, in order to get to a ready state. When disarming remotely there is no feedback of this to users who can't see their keypads so we had, for many years, customers complaining about not being able to arm their systems after an alarm.
We fixed this by disarming twice for you. Hence the two beeps. You're welcome.

thanks. i'm guessing there's no way to "if previousalarm=true then unlocktwice() else unlockonce()"

interesting bit, but the 2 beeps experience is only through the app. if you use the API, such as when using home assistant, it will beep only once.
