Android Notification have stopped.

I am using EnvisAlerts Standard. After Verizon stopped the SMS service, I now rely on a notification chime. It has been working fine, but last week it stopped. I CAN stll arm/disarm from the app, so I know I AM connected. I tried clearing the cache and data, removing the app, and re-installing. The app is set for alarms, arms, and disarms. It is still dead? Has something changed?
