I am struggling mightily to program my wired and wireless sensors connected to my Vista 20p using a fixed text keypad.
OK, I'm not struggling, I'm failing. And it's my own fault.
After working mightily to get my new Envisalink 4 working, I ultimately decided to just wipe everything out and start from scratch. Bad decision!
The system came with the house, undocumented and unconfigured. I was able, at that time, to download a version of Honeywell Connect. I then bought (for a ridiculous price) a genuine 1200 BPS Hayes modem, and wired up a fake PBX. This allowed me to "dial" my panel, and using that software, configure everything.
Well, as 'fessed up to above, I deleted it all and I need to do exactly that all over again. No big deal, just do what I did last time.
Only the software from back then is (WAS) on what is now my wife's notebook. She didn't know what it was and deleted it. I love her, so I have to forgive her, but golly gee, she could have asked!
Anyway, I need that software again and cannot find it! And it seems like Honeywell no longer makes it available.
Can anyone point me to a (legitimate) copy? I don't need the newest .. I suspect a 5 year old version will work fine.
Just something. Programming a fixed text panel using multi-text instructions isn't going well ...
Thanks!
P.S. The Envisalink 4 was bought so that I could interface my alarm to my Home Assistant system. Frankly, I can't think of a better way, or even a decent way, to interface any brand of standalone alarm system with Home Assistant, so I can't even buy my way out of my foolishness .. even if I could afford to just buy something new .. which I really can't.
Honeywell Connect download?
