Thermostat?
Which thermostat can I purchase that will integrate with my DSC alarm and the eyez-on monitoring? It appears the escort module is no longer made. I read something of a ct-30 with wifi, is this supported and if so how?
Thanks
Thanks

Re: Thermostat?
Unfortunately the only thermostat that is directly supported is the EMS-100 thermostat via the Escort 5580TC. The ESCORT is still sold be the thermostat isn't.
We hope to support another thermostat(s) in the future.

Once and awhile you might find a used EMS on Ebay or New old stock. You can try setting up a search for such. I'm looking for some myself as well

Hi,
I have a Vista 20p with Envisalink 3. What type of thermostat would I need to purchase to be able to control it via Envisalink 3?
Thanks,
Eric

Re: Thermostat?
There are no supported thermostats for Honeywell at this time. Sorry.
Re: Thermostat?
I installed the evl-3 with my Honeywell Vista 20P. I also bought the 3M Filtrete WIFI thermostat, 3M-50. I am pretty happy with the thermostat especially you can monitor it for free via radiothermostat.com/filtrete (there is also an app for Iphone or android).

Re: Thermostat?
I have one on the way as well.
Anyone have experience with its big brother ct80 ? seems like it combines humidistat etc into the same device, which if its not totally rediculous in price would be worth it.

I did compare the CT-30 and the CT-80, the CT-80 didn't seem cost effective to me for what it added (AUTO heat/cool, humidifier and de-humidifier control), and you'll need up to 3 extra wires from the furnace to the 'stat - C (power), H(umidify) and DH(de-humidify). The CT-30 only needs C, and you can use a power adapter instead if C is not available.
I've published a (free) android app (search for CT-30 on Google play) for direct control of the 'stat (I found the cloud service too slow to respond), and an android server app for secure remote access, monitoring and logging (free, with a small charge to access from the client app).
The Envisalink tie-in is that you can set it up so that the alarm system can control the thermostat. I have mine lower the temperature when the alarm is armed to "away", and restore to it's programmed schedule when disarmed or armed in "stay".
