EnvisaLink3 on DSC 4020 and 4820

Post by Dan »

Hello

I hope I can get some help here.....

Anyone have any insight how to get this envisalink3 to work with the system below.

DSC4020, DSC4820 and 2 LCD panels connected via combus....everything else works.

I called tech support and they told me to check the green and yellow wires...I did that by checking continuty with a meter and it's good there.......and still no go...I called them back and no answer and no call back yet.

I'm starting to wonder if the PCB is bad?........(this is the first time I ever bought a PCB that didn't come packed in a static sensitive package)

The network end seems ok because I can login to the webserver over the local network and it's getting it's IP adress but no comms between the DSC and the envisalink

The Envisalink doesn't support Maxsys panels and there are no plans to do so.

The Envisalink only supports (at the time of writing) DSC Power Series panels and Honeywell "P" series panels.
