IP100D access - API

Post by HL65 »

Can someone give me a little basic help by explaining how to do a direct access to a IP100D from a e.g. C++, Java, C# application?

For example, I would like to call my IP100D and get the status for e.g. zone 3.
And, I would like to toggle e.g. PGM4.

What kind of calls and arguments do I have to do?
And how do I receive the results?

Yes, I know this is very basic, but I have to start some place, so please bear with me.

You don't have to write anything! This is all provided through the Eyez-On Secure Portal for free. You can arm, disarm, see zone status, change PGMs, change your thermostat setting, do zone bypass, see the last gizillion events in your system log and more. You can also access all of this on your smart phone through the mobile portal app.

Enjoy

I second the request for an API also! I started a thread about this too!

Yes, I know. But they can't provide me the enjoy by doing this myself! And they can't compete with a customized application hand made for my needs.

So, If you or others could could contribute with some API info it would be great.
