What power source is recommended when using the envisalink 3 and a vista 20p? And what backup power source (volts/amps) is recommended when using the envisalink 3 and a vista 20p?

Its powered by your alarm panels ps and battery so you don't have to do anything. It takes less power then a keypad would so unless you have a lot of things already on your panel you don't have to buy anything extra. That said if you want battery backup so you can still get alerts etc if your power is off then you would need to have a UPS for your router/modem etc that let you get onto the internet.
