2ds with vera zwave controller

I have the Vera Zwave controller running my home automation. The 2DS is suppose to interface with it but I am having lots of problems. I have posted on Vera's site and thought I would do the same here just to see if anyone has any experience they wish to share.

Hello, did you find the solutions to your communication problems between vera and D2S?
I just started with the same equipment, and I also have some difficulty in communicating.
It works in part, but if I could find examples that would be great.

I am over in the UK and am also a newbie with the whole Vera and DSC integration, but i have successfully managed to get it working (at a very basic level) i've managed to connect to the alarm, and run a scene off one of the wireless sensors.
