Where can I find Documentation on this system (Not the installation instructions)

Things I would like to find out:

Can I rename Zones?
What exactly is a Partition?
How do I setup SMS Messaging for notifications?
What exactly is a Device under Contacts?

Can I add additional ZWave devices to my system with EnvisaLink?
If not, what would you suggest to add to it so I can, that is compatible with EnvisiaLink

This is not a "system", but a module that you can add to your existing Honeywell or DSC Alarm system

Can I rename Zones?

You can name zones for use with eyez-on notifications, It does not rename the zones on your actual security system.

What exactly is a Partition?

Partitioning an alarm system will allow you to have 2 or more independently controllable areas, as well as limit or control access to either by use of codes, and sometimes, code authority levels.

How do I setup SMS Messaging for notifications?

Its pretty self explanatory and done through your eyez-on account

What exactly is a Device under Contacts?

That device would be a EVL3 module

Can I add additional ZWave devices to my system with EnvisaLink?
If not, what would you suggest to add to it so I can, that is compatible with EnvisiaLink

You would have to check the documentation of your security system as to whether your alarm system can support ZWave devices. The Envisalink 3 module gives you the ability to self-monitor your alarm system and remotely arm/disarm it for free. It is not a home automation controller, and does not interact with the ZWave protocol.

I finally found the SMS setup. Straight forward would have been to be able to edit my current contact and enable SMS messaging. Setting up two contacts for one person is not very self explanatory.

There is also no descriptions on what SMS Style w/ Partition or SMS Style w/o Partition means, or what info is provided.

You can name zones for use with eyez-on notifications, It does not rename the zones on your actual security system.

I want to rename the the zones with Eyez-On not my system, despite trying, I still can't find anywhere to do this. Can you tell me where I can do this.

I would also like to know what OPEN and CLOSED mean exactly, specifically for my motion sensors. There is a bunch of activity on those zones opening and closing. Makes sense for doorways, but motion sensors?

This is the type of stuff that needs to be documented! I shouldn't have to ask in a forum.

Having somebody on staff with awesome UX abilities wouldn't hurt either!

On your system status page at the top right hand corner you can click on manage to change zone names.

Usually Zones trips when the circuit is disrupted (An Open Circuit) and is restored when loop is completed again (Closed Circuit). So for motion It should show open when someone trips it and closed when it no longer senses movement
