Install Question

Hello, I recently purchased an IP100D device for my DSC 1832 panel. After hooking up the device and restoring power to the system I do not see any lights showing on the IP100D. Should this thing show any indicator lights while having no CAT5 cable connected? At this point I assume it should have some kind of lights on without any network connection but I could be wrong.

I also do not see it listed in my DLSIV program after performing a Global Upload task from the panel.

Thanks for any info you can provide.

Never mind my last post. It seems that sometime between me closing the panel and writing the last past in this thread the "Red" power wire that plugs into the keybus broke. I must have man handled it to much during install.... :oops:

After re-stripping and re-inserting the cable it now shows the indicator lights on.
