Notifications - Openings/Closing

The DSC panel sends two notifications and that is what is transmitted to you. The first tells you what user closed the system, and by what state.

I don't know of and DSC programming that would inhibit user identification and I can't image why you would want to either.

Ok, so this is a function of the DSC panel reporting codes and the EnvisaLink doesn't provide a filter to include/exclude them as I'm looking to do.

I have a Honeywell system and I do not get the duplicate notifications. I only get the "Security Event: Closing By User XXXX" message. I much rather have the "Away Arm Mode" message, but oh well. Not a show-stopper for me.
