I used to get these messages occassionaly but when I opened my inbox this morning, if was full of about 30 of these messages.
Is there possibly something wrong with my 2DS?
I have tried new network cables and changed the switch but I am still getting about 8 messages an hour.
I also ran a speed check on my internet connection and it shows what it should (no apparent slow downs).
Any Ideas?
Try connecting the 2DS directly to your Router for at least 30 minutes to see if you are still getting these alerts. Please reboot the Modem after connecting the 2DS. Another test that could be done would be change the port on the Router that the Switch is connected to. I have had switches or Router ports that go bad or poor contact. Connecting the 2DS directly to the Modem would eliminate the Router and/or Switch as the source of the problem.
No DSL, cox cable.
I have it connected now straight to the router, and I already have a couple Faults and Restores. I will let it run that way overnight and see what happens.
also post your modem model and version as well as your router model and version. And can you give me a brief topology of your network along with any bandwidth heavy habits (torrents or such), as well as any custom firewall configurations you have added (port forwarding, etc etc).
