New ISP

Post by jhamilton »

Good Morning,

I signed up for a new ISP yesterday, Comcast, and now my Envisalink will not communicate. I am assuming it is because I have DHCP turned off on the Envisalink. I cannot get into the Envisalink directly through 192.168.1.76 as my gateway is 10.0.0.1 and the ip is not in the range.

I am not sure what I can do at this point. I do not see my Envisalink in my router as a connected device, again due to DHCP being turned off. If anyone can offer some advice I would appreciate it.

Thanks
Jeremy

Ok I jumped the gun a bit, I did not realize that the router that comcast provides will allow you to change you IP range, as stand alone router will. I was able to go in and change the routers ip range and all is well.......
