IP100D user reset

Hi, can someone tell me how to reset the user and password on my IP100D? I found a post on the topic, but do not see the pin header that is referred to on that post.

Also, for basic alarm control via smartphone, is there any advantage to the newer boards for DSC Power Series alarms? Thanks.

You can try using the reset password feature from your Eyezon portal account (under "manage device") but it will depend on your IP100D version. It is so old that we're not sure what versions included a reset option.

For basic services there is probably no difference. I guess the main one is sequences, you can only enter a sequence of 6 charaters on an IP100D.

Thank you for the reply! After looking into the capabilities of the EVL-3, I decided to go ahead and buy one for my DSC 864.
