Several problems

Post by noel »

EYEZ-ON,

The hardware installation went very well and the configuration was manageable. I would appreciate help with the following problems:

[1 - SMS: MISSING MESSAGES] I receive SMS for zone followers, but none for when the system is armed (stay, away, instant) nor disarmed.

[2a - MOBILE: INCORRECT STATUS] When I browse to the EyezOn mobile page and click on my named Envisalink device, the status page always shows "Partition 1 Busy" with an image of an unlit LED, regardless of whether or not the system is ready, armed, or unready (with faults).

[2b - MOBILE: COMMANDS DONT WORK] Also on the mobile page, there is a "Commands" button which brings up a menu of operations after which I get prompted for a passcode. Those operations never do anything. I've also tried with my firewall turned off.

[3 - PORTAL: STATUS MISSING] When I login to the Eyez-On portal and click on my named Envisalink device to get to the page with the Status,EnvisAlarm,EnvisAlert.... toolbar, the Status section of that page is empty. I've seen screenshots (e.g., http://www.eyezon.com/?page_id=176) where there is an icon indicating system state and some buttons (e.g., Disarm, Command).

Regards,
Noel

I looked up your account and you didn't complete any of the programming for Honeywell systems.

Also, I would blockout your MAC Address Number in the attachment (if it is the "real" number).

Thank you for the feedback.

I did complete all steps under Parts 1 and 2; after all I'm getting SMS for zone faults and can see faulted zones on the EnvisAlerts and Eyez-On websites. But I'll go through the steps again and report back.

The problems and symptoms I reported (unable to arm but getting zone faults, missing web parts) were caused by using the wrong keypad address on the Envsalink Configuration.

Thank you for your prompt attention.

Zone faults happen even if you did no programming at all.

Also, I checked your account again and you still haven't completed Part 2 Section 2 (LRR programming). Without this you will not receive any events (other than zone followers which are synthetic).

GrandWizrd,

That might explain why I haven't been getting arm/disarm events. I'll set field 29 tonight.

Thank you for being meticulous and your continued attention.

Noel
