Prospective purchaser: multiple user-code awareness?

Post by SamHughes »

We're looking at modifying the alarm system for a small office-space and warehouse, and Eyezon seems to have some solutions that are just what we need. I have a few questions about features that I haven't been able to get answered.

1. Does the web portal/Email event reporting show the user-code that was used? Will it just record that the alarm was disarmed, or will it record that code "1234" was used to disarm?

2. Can you schedule email alerts based on user and time? For instance: (2a) can you arrange to have alerts sent for all arm/disarm events that occur after 7PM? (2b) Can you set an exception for "Jimmy," who uses code 4321?

3. I saw a user asking about delay before an alert is sent. He mentioned a 10-minute delay. (3a) Is there always a 10-minute delay before a notification is sent? (3b) Can that delay be turned off or modified?

Wonderful stuff, so far!

Hi,
1) Yes and no. Yes you will be notified which user arms/disarms the system ("Closing by User Jimmy"), but you won't be able to see his PIN. That would be a major security risk and we actually don't know what these codes are anyhow.

2) No, there is no such scheduling feature. But you can select which events go to which Contact. So that Jimmy would only see alarms but Sammy would see openings and closings in addition to alarms.

3) There is absolutely no delay sending alerts. It is effectively instantaneous. I think what you are referring to is a Network Supervision Fault. This is issued if the panel has not contacted the server in the last 10 minutes.
