Partition 1 Not Ready: EnvisaLink 3

Post by Billy7869 »

A bit about by equipment:
Honeywell 15p Rev 9.12
2-6160 keypads
No ip communicator installed -Shadowing unchecked
Completed all programming part 2 for Honeywell.

Zones show when faulted but I still get:
Partition 1 Not Ready

If any of you guys have 15p advice I would appreciate it, I am at a standstill on this issue.

Support doesn't appear to be able or want to help me resolve this, I was really in high hopes this product would work for me.

Returning this product seems to be my only alternative at this time.

That's not very fair. I have answered three of your emails already and we are actively debugging your problems.

My 20P panel has been working for a while. Yesterday, after switching to a different CS, the EVL-3 showed not ready. Finally figured out the field *49 was reset to 0. The system started working again when setting the field to 5.
Double check field *49 settings.

It appears the keypad settings (device address 20 in my case) *193 50 worked for me.

Online Primer: PART 2: Honeywell Vista Configuration claims 10 for vista but would not work for me.

Apparently 5 allows remote services device usage for the 15p.

Thanks for replies.

Yes 5 was the correct setting for me also.
Thanks

I know this thread is old, but can someone tell me what the solution was as I'm having the same issue.

My setup:
DSC PC1832
EVL4

It was working fine all day today (I was watching the status on the web page - no activity), but then as soon as someone walked in the house it told me the door opened, and then gave error: Partition 1 Not Ready. Same notice on my cell phone portal.

The alarm was not armed at the time.

Maybe you left your door open? When a zone is open your partition becomes "Not Ready".

That must be it. I thought it was giving me an error in communicating with the panel, and not a simple notice.
My mistake.

Thanks.
