Identifying Compatibility / New Setup ?'s

Post by Cellborne »

I have a an Ademco alarm system in my house that is completely "wired". Several window sensors, glass break, 3 door sensors, motion, fire, etc. I have the user guide here that states it is a "Vista-20P / Vista-20PCN, Vista-15P/Vista-15PCN". I am having trouble identifying if this will be compatible with the Envisalink, and I am not sure if it is "DSC". Hopefully the "PCN" in the model name isn't a dead give away, I just am unfamiliar with alarm systems. Furthermore I would like to include a few wireless options into my home security such as a thermostat and front door keypad. As with the ev3 supplies I would like to be in control with my android phone and do the monitoring service. I have done some research and believe I need to buy the wireless hub product by Ademco for the thermostat and door?

Any help on this would be greatly appreciative! Thanks

Sorry, I see on the ev3 page that it is compatible with my panel, and that DSC is a vendor like Ademco. So I guess the only questions I still have are, is it possible that the eyez-on smartphone app can control a thermostat and front door keypad / is there a thermostat and keypad even available and compatible for my system?

Thanks for the help!

For Ademco we don't have a compatible thermostat right now but we will be supporting the CT-30 and CT-80 from Radio Thermostat in the near future.
