Post by aero77 »

So what happend ? After I installed the Envisalink 3 for Honeywell and activated it here on the site the keypad starts beeping every 5 minutes and I have to get there and enter the 4 digit code to make it stop.

Any ideas ?

Thanks for reading :)

Did you enable LRR?

Are there any errors on your Eyezon portal account at the top of the details page?

the only error I can see is a yellow text saying trouble - service required inside the pop up box that appear when I hover the text.

Whenever I go out of the house and comes back a few minutes later all zones have been activated by itself even though I turned off the alarm last time I entered the house. The beeping sound is just like the countdown sound that I get when I enter the house and the alarm is set off.

I dont know what the LRR is.

Okay I managed to get in using the backdoor and I have the master code now.

Doing this part https://www.eyez-on.com/EZMAIN/evl3honeywell.php

Im using keypad address 18 so I entered *191 then 1 and 0 as it said in the instructions(then beeping 3 times cause its a correct value entered).

I also tried entering *29 to enable LRR, but when I do the screen turns blank with the text no ac lit in the corner. After that nothing shows up on the screen so I just pull the plugs and start over.

I managed to save the first part with the keypad by pressing *99

You still have your Envisalink communicating on address 18 which means you'll never be able to control your panel. If you enabled address 19 for the Envisalink then you need to tell the Envisalink to switch to 19 too. This is all covered in the instructions.

Because you don't have an ALPHA keypad you are flying blind with programming. Before playing with *29 ask yourself "Do I have an alternate communicator on my panel like a GSM backup or maybe an Alarmnet IP communicator?". If so, you probably already have *29 enabled and all you need to do it enable "shadowing mode" as per the instructions.

If you don't have an alternate communicator installed, you can enable *29 on newer panels by entering the following.

(Installer Code) 8 00 *29 1 * 0 * * *99

Sorry I didn't really understand that part. I thought 190 was 17 and 191 was 18 and so on. Now I've changed the keypad address from 18 to 19 on the envisalink. My control panel is a vista 20p. There is no alternate communicator here from before as I know. Only thing I installed is the Envisalink 3 for Honeywell. I have enabled the LRR on the envisalink setup page.

Okay. Now I did like you said and a few seconds after I dialed <code> 800 *29 1 * 0 * * *99 the control panel started to continuously beeping like it does when someone sets of the alarm. (the delay). I presses the other code I have to turn it off.

In my web interface I still have the problem lit and saying "Service Required" and "AC Failure".

At least I can control the system from the web interface and the reports seems to work too

No, you need to disable Shadowing on the local Envisalink page if you DON'T have another communicator. Turn that off and your 'bF" error will disappear.
