Thermostat - Maxsys

Just learned about the EnvisaLink this past week. Seems like a great product! I plan to order one to familiarize myself with your device and hopefully offer them to our clients in the near future.

A couple of questions/requests...
1. I spoke with Rich by phone today and learned that a new thermostat control (Non DSC) is on the horizon. Whatever thermostat(s) you use, a multi-stage (ie 2heat - 2 cool) would be nice.

2. Has there been any thought given to developing a device that will control a Maxsys?

Our equipment partner, Envisacor, still has the thermostat add-on for the Envisalink 2DS in development so I doubt we'll see anything before year-end. There has been some problems securing affordable thermostats that are compatible.

As for Maxsys, there are no plans to support Maxsys panels. Didn't DSC stop making Maxsys?

Thanks for the info. Looking forward to the new thermostats. DSC are still selling the MAXSYS however there is rumor that a new system is on the way.
