Partiton 2

Post by DeanRobinson »

I added in some new sensors and put them on partition #2 on a Vista-20p But I cant seem to figure out how to go to or setup a second partition on the Envisa Link 3, Do I have to setup a second keypad for partition 2?

Thanks!

Hi Dean, its right in the manual. Look at Part 1 and Part 2: Section 1, where it talks about configuring partition 2.

Forgive me but I can't remember where you have the manual posted.
Can you post the link.

Thanks!

No problem, here it is. You basically have to add another keypad to handle your second partition.

After going thru the manual and setting up the keypad and enabling it in the panel for partition 2 I tried to run some command to the panel, I now have about 8 Command Queued, I tried powering everything, down, But the queued commands are still stacked up, I looked thru the manual but didn't see and anything on this, How do I clear them?

Just noticed my date on the screen say's Oct. 15 1956, on both of my systems, One in Calif and on in Arizona. Not sure if that is related to the problem.

Thanks!
