Hi All,
I'm to the forum and I just installed my evl-3 on my honeywell system and everything is working fine. My question is is there an explanation of the commands that are available. I know and understand the basic (Off, chime). But I'm trying to figure out how to use the others.
Bypass - I figured out how to bypass the zone but can you un-bypass. I tried to go thru the bypass sequence again thinking it would re-enable the zone but that did work. Any idea's.
Max - What is that used for ?
Test - Does that just check to see if the system is receiving information if so that works as the system will make a beep after sending this command.
Code - What is that used for and how does it work ?
Custom - What is that used for and how does it work ?
I tried to do a search for commands, code and it doesn't really come up with anything maybe I'm just not searching correctly.
Thanks for any help you guys might have.

Re: Commands explanation
Hi thanks for the reply, after doing some more reading and research it was looking like the it mimicking what you can do with the keyboard. So thanks for the clarification.
The one question is that when you log into the mobile site you cannot see the commands without a virtual keyboard with display so you don't know what your doing. Maybe I missed something there.
Anyway thanks again for you help with this. I'll keep reading up.
