Eyez-on Portal to work with Z-wave devices ?

I was thinking of getting a z-wave compatible thermostat, smoke detector, etc.

I was going to connect to a Vera controller to the DSC panel. Is it possible for the Eyez-on portal to interact with these devices, or does it have to be a DSC thermostat, smoke, etc. ?
