3rd party monitoring

Post by chromatel »

I know that 3rd party monitoring is possible with the 3ds by getting the alerts+ or whatever it's called. My question is how is the communication done? Does it go like this Panel>EVL3>Eyezon servers>my central or is it like this Panel>EVL3>my central.

Envisalarms do not go through our reporting servers. Alarms (signals) go directly to the central station.

so the ip of the central is programmed to the module and the module talks directly to the central like the tl-150 would? if that is the case can the ip of the central be programmed directly to the module with the local web page or do we have to use the online portal.

Yes, Envisalerts+ customers get a portal interface for programming the IP settings given to them by their monitoring company. I am pretty sure there is no way to do this locally, it has to be done through the portal.
