recently im seeing messages now the following:
Security Event: TPI Login
Location: "my 2ds name here"
Time: 2014-05-24 02:38:31
Partition: 0
above followed by this:
Security Event: TPI Session Closed
Location:" my 2ds name"
Time: 2014-05-23 12:29:51

Re: security event TPI session open?closed?
Someone/something is connecting to your TPI port and logging in sucessfully. This could be a home automation system you own, or maybe one of the many Third-party apps. If you don't want to see these messages check "Disable TPI Session Alerts" and they will no longer be transmitted.
Re: security event TPI session open?closed?
thanks I was wondering about that. But I do not have anything that I can think of that would be doing that. My only automation is minimal x10 on off light hardwired remote control, there is nothing else within my systems that I have associated with the alarm panel and as these random TPI sessions just started to appear was thinking maybe last update did something.
My concern is as you say it is something/someone? as this only means to me that there is a connection of some sort taking place logging successfully on to the unit?
sitting here watchin the act light is fairly steady flashing, the green keyb is on steady the oper redled is slowly on and off.
so still a mystery to me thanks for any comments

Submit a support request so we can get your MAC address and look at your logs. The ONLY reason for the TPI Login event is if something/someone logs into your module locally.
For security reasons, remember to never open your Envisalink up to the Internet by port-forwarding to it or adding it to your router's "DMZ". Also remember to change your default local password.
