super newb here.
I'm in construction, had the alarm contractor install my vista 15p. anyhoo, the module was installed before the account was activated, backwards to the instructions. now I have a *29 error. i follow the instruction to fix the error, top of page = ***make sure you activate account then install module*** well...too late, what now. doesn't say.
apologies in advance for the amateur question.

Submit a tech support request.
The reason we ask people to do this step first is that your module comes from the factory with DSC firmware, not Vista firmware. The module will switch (download) proper firmware upon installation but only if you have selected Vista firmware as part of your activation. Otherwise it will continue thinking it is a DSC module.
Eventually it will sort itself out but it could take up to 20 minutes in some cases if it is really confused.
It's possible your module already fixed itself after you posted this but if not, submit a support ticket and we can help your there.
