Hi all,
I'm brand new to this, please forgive any stupidity on my part!
I just installed an EVL-3 in my DSC 1832, and I think I did it right. I'm able to get to it from inside my home network. However, when I try and activate it via the eyezon.com site, even after the suggested 10 minutes (actually about an hour and a half so far) it still is greyed out.
On the unit itself, I see that the Envisalerts Server is listed as 53.160.107.214, but the status is offline.
Am I missing something? I tried to search for this on the forums but came up empty.
Many thanks, in advance!

That isn't one of Envisacor's alerting servers IPs.
Have a look at this FAQ, specifically DNS problems.

It worked! My home router and DSL modem are one device, but I was able to configure the DHCP settings to give the EVL-3 my ISP's DNS servers rather than the router itself.
Thanks so much, appreciate your response. Now to figure out what else I can do with this!
