I've got a CT-50 and Envisalink-3, and enabled periodic temperature broadcasts via the 057 command, but I never get a 561 message. The HTML page on the Envisalink displays the temperature on the thermostat, so it "knows" about it.
Shouldn't it be emitting a 561 message periodically?
If not, what's the recommended way to poll the thermostat(s) for the temperature?
Envisalink3 + CT50 + TPI Temperature Reporting?

Re: Envisalink3 + CT50 + TPI Temperature Reporting?
The documentation for the TPI was written before the STAT50 integration. Currently you will only get a temperature broadcast if you have an EMS100 thermostat.
I believe there will be support in the TPI for the STAT50 in the next firmware release. I will leave it to @Kman to confirm this.

Until then, how does one get the temperature? Is the E3 actively polling it, does the CT50 send a periodic UDP broadcast, or what?

No idea. You could maybe "scrape" it from the local Envisalink page. It will show the current temperature there.
Re: Envisalink3 + CT50 + TPI Temperature Reporting?
The EMS-100 and the Stat50 use a common API on the Envisalerts side of things so it will be easy to add support in the TPI.
Such additions usually don't warrant a firmware release and the bug report list is empty. When we get the feature added we may release it as part of a "on request" firmware update.

Any traction on this request?
Thanks!
