EnvisaLink-3 with Vista 20SE Panel

Post by Craig »

I know the EnvisaLink-3 can't send commands to an older Vista 20SE panel but I have read that it should be able to get alerts from the panel. Has anyone actually gotten this to work?

I realize this isn't much help, but I could not. So I spent the $60 to get a 20P and swapped out the boards.

Hi All, new to this forum. Interested in EVL-3 to add to our system but believe we may have an older Vista20 SE flavor. Hard to tell exactly (at least by me) but hoping some of you more experienced folks can advise. The system is a Safewatch Pro that was installed by ADT in 1999. The main board has printing indicating SA20ADT. From other postings, it seems that this is likely a Vista 20SE system. Can someone confirm this or is there any other way I can verify exactly which version I have? Thanks in advance!

That is an SE panel. You can tell by the large black heatsink.
