Not getting Recent Events, otherwise great

I recently installed the EVL-3CG on my Vista-20P system. LED's are functioning correctly. The Zone Activity is working correctly, I see the color coded grid, the Zone Activity ledger is working correctly and updating (status->zone activity). Through the Status window I am able to Arm/Disarm the panel and the panel status is updated correctly. I can arm/disarm at the physical panel and the status is updated in the status window.

My problem is that the Events tab is not updating and I am not getting any email/text alerts for alarms.
I have set *59-*75 to all 1's. *48:77, *49:5, *50:0, *54:0, *55:1
I have *29 (LLR) set to 0, I do have shadowing enabled in the Envisalink gui.
I have Pager1 Report (*162):0 and Pager2 Report(*165):4. I do not have a Pager 1 Phone No.(*160), I do have a Pager 2 Phone No.(*163).

With in manage contacts, I have set up three uses, I have set all alerts active for each of the three registered contacts ( one of the contacts is set up as sms).

What is odd, is that I do have 5 old events listed, Openings/Closing/Arm modes. These events were logged right after I initially installed the device (yesterday), but no recent updates. It seems that I made some type of programming change to the portal or panel but I cannot identify what I have done.

As per the instructions, you mst turn *29 on. Otherwise you will not get any events. As well, if you don't have another IP/GSM/LRR device on your system, you must turn shadowing OFF.

Combination of the two fixed my problem. I had *29 as a 0 due to LRR error. But by turning shadowing off, the LRR errors went away and now I am getting the alerts.
