System indicate "Stay Armed" when armed as "Armed Away"
Does anyone have this issue? I arm the system successfully with "Armed Away", but the system status is "Stay Armed". The system works fine, but is not reporting accurately. My system is a Honeywell Vista 20p

After arming in AWAY mode did you open and close an exit door?
If you arm in AWAY mode and don't open and close an exit door the system will default arm in STAY mode.

Good point. I armed it remotely. So i did not open and close door during arming.

Just an FYI:
If you want to arm your VISTA 20P remotely in the future, using the EnvisaLink 3 to Away mode, you must first turn off the Auto Stay Feature. Otherwise it will default to Stay mode IF one or mode exit door is not opened.
Go into programming mode and set *84 to 0 That will turn off the Auto Stay feature.

You can use the auto stay option with an with out a problem, Just enable the Envisalink in the panel with configuration of 5 not 1, " In the *190-*196" That way you get the best of both worlds.

On Vista-20p alarm panels when you install a keypad or Invisalink module you have to "Enable" that device on a specific address, that coincides with the address you setup on the Invisalink module, Lets say address 19, that would be *192, "Now when you enable it you have 7 choices of how you want to enable it. choice #1 would be Keypad "Device" partition 1, But Choice #5= partition 1 (auto-stay arm disabled).
Keep in mind there are 2 options you have to enter, In my case it is 5 & 1 (5 Enable option and then a 1 "For sound option)
I have setup 10 vista panels this way.
My ADDENDUM page is dated from 5 years ago that shows this as an option, panels older than that probably does not have these other options.
Thanks!

Very good information. Old revision manual didn't explain option 5~7. Thanks.
