Envisalink transfer from DSC to ADT safewatch pro 3000

Post by perfchris »

Hello All,

What are the steps to move an envisalink from a dsc system to a adt safewatch pro system?

I already have an eyezon account.

Thanks in advance!

You need to delete the module from your account and then activate it again but this time select HONEYWELL as the panel type. It may take up to 10 minutes for your module to download the appropriate firmware.

No, the module will reboot many times during this period though. That is normal.

Thanks

Do I need to remove it from the DSC and then just install it on the honeywell box and then connect it to the network and choose Honeywell? Or do this while still connected to the dsc box?

Either way is fine. Just remember that while the module still has DSC firmware, when connected to the Hoenywell panel the KEYB LED will not be on. Only after it is activated as a Honeywell device, and gets the proper firmware will this happen.

UPDATE:

i disconnected the envisalink from dsc and installed it with the 4 wires: 6-7 for bus communication alongside keypad and power black and red.

I opened power and after a couple of minutes i get a continuous beep on the keypad with message check 100

help!

The module does not activate on the envisalink secure page. I have reset it as per insructions above only the green led is lit.

help!

Are you sure it was a Check 100 and not a Check 103?

Check 100 has nothing to do with Envisalink. It's a RF failure, that is either your RF keypad or RF transmitter is having issues. Check 103 LRR Failure is common if you haven't properly configured a Honeywell system for cellular radio or an IP device such as the EVL-3.

Did you follow the specific programming instructions and program your Honeywell panel to recognize the Envisalink?

I found the issue: had connected the red and black wires to position 1-2 when they are supposed to be in position 3-4.

It works now HOWEVER, i am not getting any recent activity nor Am I getting any texts or emails.

I did make the changes to the system and to my contacts.

Thanks in advance
