Hi;
I recently bought all of the following for a low price of $ 19.95 from a local Goodwill, powered it all up and works!
Vista 15P Panel
6150RF Keypad
(2) Ademco 5816 Wireless Transmitter
(2) Honeywell DT-7435 Motion sensors
(1) Alarm Pendant
(1) 747 2 Tone Siren
(1) Ademo 7845C/CZ Cellular Subscriber Radio
(1) AC adapter for panel
(1) gell cell for alarm panel
The system came with version 2.5 firmware, will this work with the EnvisaLink 3? If not what should the minimum version be?
For anyone who's familiar with the Vista 15P is there any advantage in upgrading the panel firmware?
I don't plan on using the system with "Total Connect", may use it with x-10/zwave down the road.
Besides purchasing the EnvisaLink 3 and having access to the internet, is there anything else I need to make the system work?
Thanks,
Mike

Re: Vista 15P minimum firmware version for EnvisaLink 3
Mike,
Sounds like a good find. I have an older 20P that would have needed upgrade for total connect, but works fine with the envisalink 3. I'm pretty sure you're good too. I also use the X10 capabilities but didn't have the AC adapter that allows data pass through. So I connected using a PSC04. I get a good strong reliable signal.

There are no firmware version requirements other than the panel has to be a "P" model.
