My DSC5010 has two trouble codes dealing with the phone line. Trouble code 3 is for the actual phone line, I'm assuming it monitors the line voltage to ensure there is a phone line connected. Trouble code 4 is for the actual end to end communication, I'm assuming the monitoring station transmits a signal to indicate it received the panels transmission correctly, or something to the effect.
Do I need to disable these when I disconnect my phone line monitoring?
Thanks for any help

Yes, you should disable TLM and remove the phone number from the primary dialer. Otherwise you will get these troubles on any panel event.

Thanks. I wasn't sure if that would be part of the setup or not. At $49, I was kind of expecting that much reprogramming to be included. I have the installer code, manual and program sheets though, so I'm sure I'll be able to figure it out.
