Zone downloads was initial stated, it would be added to the 2DS, but was never achieved. Then again was stated with the EVL3 but never saw the light of day...
Will it make it into the EVL4?

w00t. DLS you say... I assume this to mean you've got the PC-Link cable thing going on, since the old DVACs module hack shouldn't let you get that far.

GSM? Oh heck yes.. You guys have any pilot programs for pros? I've been with you a long time, and would be happy to test bench / guinney pig a willing client or two...

Any word on DSC Neo compatibility? Or is that a dead horse....

Unfortunately the EVL4 will only be available to Connect2Go customers and not Eyezon initially

If you are a dealer you probably already received information about it as it is in BETA.

Eyezon customers will get a chance at it in late fall of this year.

DLS requires a PCLINK cable so you cannot support another IP communicator on the older POWER series panels. On the newer panels you will obviously have no problem.

Envisacor seems to have solved all their legacy 10BaseT issues on this version as we've been testing the module with various commercial WiFi extenders and Gigabit switches with 100% success. This new version looks really solid.

The Envisalink4 is being installed now by large security dealers. Envisacor is not allowing us to activate EVL4s right now but I hopefully this will open-up at the end of September.

For most users there are no real benefits to the 4 over the 3. Honeywell users with mansions can now get status on 128 zones over 64. Customers with gigabit Ethernet can now use the module on their switches without issues.

For those users that want to use a WiFi bridge for their Envisalink, I would wait for the 4. We tested 8 different WiFi bridges with the module and all worked, as opposed to 2 for the EVL3. I am not sure why but something to note.

Sorry to hijack the topic but what problems are with the current envi 3 and gigs both switches ?

Like jac1987 inquired, are there issues with EVL-3s and gigabit switches? I was just about to order up an EVL-3 and the monitoring service but just wanted to check that it will auto-negotiate with a 10/100/1000 switch (or does it just need to be hard coded to 10 or 100Mbps half/full duplex.)

We have had reports of consumer-grade gigabit switches that will not support 10BaseT (half or full) even though they are advertised as such.
