Hello I am newbee in every sense of the word.
I have new PC1832 alarm system, I just replaced an old PC5010, transfered all of the wiring to the new panel.
I was trying to connect to the PC1832 and the connected EVL-4 Using the DLS 5 V1.3 programming software.
I jumped right in thinking I could use the DLS software directly with an EVL-4. Can this be done ?
Here is what I did in the DLS 5 software I choose my panel tyhpe PC1832 v4.6, Next I select IP ( 172.0.0.22 (static IP I assigned to the device, reachable via http).
The DLS software always reports Could not connect to 172.20.0.22. In the communication settings parameters are the IP installed code : my default should be 5555, where do I find the communicator ID ?
What I am I missing in the setup ? ( I read a previous post that said the EVL-4 can be used by the DLS software)
thank you

DLS is currently not available to Eyezon customers but will be available in the near future. Due to licensing fees it will only be part of our "Plus" package.

Ok thank you for the response, which means the hardware can do it, but it's not offered to DIY end users. What is the license fee cost, can I add that to my existing new EVL-4?
So I am new the alarm programming stuff, but it seems very strange that I should be programming my panel with a key pad and funky codes, when the DLS software is available for FREE and has a modern UI.
I think it's strange I purchased hardware designed in 2015 that has the capability built-in, but I'll have to use technology from 90's; a serial gizmo : PCLINK-SCW connected on a Serial to USB adapter.
I got talk to the sales pepole at aartech.ca that recommned the EVL-4, they sure have their fact's wrong !

Re: EVL-4 and DLS 5 v 1.3
Im using DLS and a TP150 to communicate with the panel.
The software is downloadable and works good once you get it set up. Much easier way to program the panel.

Is tp150 a some kind of new product from ENVL?

That is a TL-150, an early cousin of the Envisalink, and cannot do DLS.
