So I ordered what I thought was an EnvisaLink EVL4 off a supposedly reputable seller on ebay.
Instead I get a Connect2GO variant. I have not registered with their system. I am not one of their customers, I am not a pro installer either.
Is there anything I can do other than return it? If I link the MAC to the eyez-on site will it work or is it flashed to only talk to Connect2GO? I'm leaving vacation in a week and don't have time to order another.

Well the good news is, it works.
The bad news is I'm getting a *29 error on the webpage.
If I enable *29 shadowing on my keypad I get a Check bF error and rapid beeping
If I disable it I get no beeping but the error on the webpage.
I've already deleted old phone numbers to the panel with *41* and *42*
I've disabled shadowing on the devices local webpage.
I do not have any extra boxes or hardware, just a phone walljack and a cable from the TIP lines on my Vista panel.

You didn't enable *29 as per the instructions.

Read 2nd post, I did.GrandWizard wrote:You didn't enable *29 as per the instructions.
If I enable *29 I get nonstop beeping and an Check bF error on my keypad.
I do not have an alarmnet module. The only thing on my keypad connections is the Envisalink, and my 6150RF Keypad

Re: Did I screw up?
You need to enable *29 and if you DON'T have another communicator, make sure shadowing is OFF. Only turn shadowing on if you have another IP/GSM/LRR communicator attached to your system. If you still get an error your YELLOW wire is not connected properly.

Update. I wiped my entire config on the Vista 20p and redid all my zones. Now it's working.
