I cant have my vista 20 to get my partition 1 to ready mode

Hi

I installed my evl3, had all the settigns in the vista20 of honeywell,

I have my device online, but not sure if the *29 for enabling the communication device menu to on.

I tried *29 and then 1 no beep

i tried *29 an then 1* and several others, still no beep

the local envisalink 3 tell me that the system is not ready, although i can see it online, but i cant arm it

all the other programming through the honeywell vista 20 are ok

not sure if someone had the same problem, I feel it might be because of the vista 20 programming.

I hope someone have a solution for that

I went into program mode on my 20p and then pressed #29. It responded by displaying a 1 and beeping three times. That confirms that my long range radio output is enabled.

As the instructions say, *29 is different for older panels. From the Honeywel Programming Guide..

3. *29 Enable IP/GSM (IP/GSM/LRR support required for your Envisalink4 to transmit alerts): The codes to enter in the section depend on the age of the panel. Start by entering 1, If you hear 3 beeps proceed to #4; if not continue with *0**.

As for not arming your partition, then that means you have a zone open. Submit a Support Request for further help as it is specific to your setup.
