EnvisaLink EVL-4 Software Updates

Hello all, new user here.

I have 2 Honeywell Vista 20P systems that I manage and both have an EVL-4 module that work great with no issues.

My question is that they both had release '69' when I installed them and then received updates to release '72', '76' and today I noticed that they both have release '77'. Is there a way to find out what is in these releases? I can see release notes for the older EVL-3 but can't find anything for the EVL-4.

If you find you have a device with a firmware version higher than the "released" version, then that means that Envisacor has made some sort of fix that isn't worthy of updating to the general population but is to be applied to newly installed devices.

In some cases, depending on your configuration, they will force an update to address some issue that doesn't affect customers directly. I suspect this is your case.

EDIT: I checked and 1.0.77 is the current released firmware for the Envisalink 4.

Thanks for the quick update but I guess my question still stands, as release '77' is the current production firmware are (or will) there be any release notes like there are for the EVL-3? The reason for the question is that if my systems start to act strange it would be of great help to be able to check this forum and see that a new release was pushed out which may or may not have caused the problem. Or, in the more likely case, if any new features have been added that would be of value to my installations.

Perhaps a separate section in the forum where only firmware release notes are posted?

Oh, of course there will be. All release notes are published on the Announcement section of the forum as soon as I get them. Usually about 24 hours before the update becomes available.
