Incorrect partition displayed in SMS alert
My evl-3 is set up on partition 1. Yesterday, we had a network outage and I got an alert as follows. As you can see it shows partition 0. Why is that?

Re: Incorrect partition displayed in SMS alert
On all makes and models of security systems a signal from Partition 0 means from the "System" or "All Partitions".
Re: Incorrect partition displayed in SMS alert
Thank you. Does that mean all alerts will show 0 or if there is a fault at a zone it will show correct partition number?

Re: Incorrect partition displayed in SMS alert
If an event is associated with a specific partition then it will show that partition. For example, a closing event is associated with a partition so you might see "Closing by User Joe, Partition 1".
Faulting of a zone isn't an event so you wouldn't see that in your event log. Oh, unless that partition was armed then you would see a Zone Alarm on that zone and yes, it would show what partition it was associated with.
