Protect your internet connection from tampering

Hello everyone,
I am all set, System is installed, Monitoring is enabled. The only problem is that my system is vulnerable to line cutting.

I really don't want to pay for cell data service just for this...

I thought about asking my neighbor for their wireless password so I can have my internet service fail over to their internet if mine goes down. I was also thinking about putting a decoy telephone line outside so that if they cut it it would send an alarm hopefully before they cut the real one.

What do you do to protect your internet connection from tampering?

My telco box has a plunger switch on it to detect tampering.
