Web Interface Updates
I've recently purchased the EVL4 product. Whilst i do think it is a great product, i am a little disappointed with the eyez-on Web Interface. The mobile interface is visually attractive but the Desktop version is awful. Some complaints are buttons and text inputs not aligning up, embedded iframes with scroll bars, long configuration pages, outdated CSS, slow response times, etc.. What are the plans on bringing the web-interface into the 21st century or even a native Android or iOS app. I did not purchase the product to rely on another home automation system for a great UI experience.

Any comments from GrandWizard

Yes it is an app and yes it does behave like an app. Are you sure you are looking in the correct place?
The only difference between our web-app and something you buy on iTunes is the cost and the delivery method. We don't put a Safari wrapper around our app as we don't want to deal with Apple's onerous submission requirements.

As i software developer myself, GrandWizard you are misinformed. No , its not a Native App and no matter what you do with the html it will never look like a native app. Maybe if you did put in the effort and submit a native Android (based on Java) and/or iOS app (written in Objective-C/Swift) , you would have many more happy users.
At the very least , you guys can optimize the html desktop interface and address some of the most basic interface issues.
All the third party apps (of which there are very few) are sub-standard and are not worth a discussion of any sorts.
I want more value for the $$$ that i spent.
What is in the pipeline with regards to the UI?

@KevinS
I have no idea if there are any plans to change the web UI. I handle tech-support and as far as I know Envisacor's underlying web platform will not be changing and as we are reliant on them, I can't see anything changing in the near future. When new features are added we get about 2 months heads-up. I haven't seen anything.
@KevinS
Our company is a small company committed to bringing professional-grade security access to DIY customers, all for no monthly cost. If you feel that you have been ripped off then I encourage you to return your module and look for another solution.
We are proud of our products and how we have taken the closed industry of burglary alarm systems and made it open to the general public, worldwide. The Envisalink's open and free API has been a game-changer and if you wish to deride it you may, but keep in mind the Envisalink is the preferred solution for most DIY home automation systems and "app" developers.
@KevinS, I sincerely hope you stay part of our ever growing community of like-minded people but if not, I wish you well.
